The county’s premier celebration of business achievement – the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) ceremony – has sold out for the second year running.
The glittering, 450-seat event, is being held at the Historic Dockyard , Chatham on Thursday 1 July. This year over 200 entries were received, an increae on last year , with 34 companies and individuals making it to the finals.
Kent County Council Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development Kevin Lynes said:
“I am so pleased that KEiBA is packed to capacity for the second year running. This shows that it has become a key event in the county’s calendar. It is a fantastic opportunity for Kent businesses to showcase the wealth of talent, skills, success and innovation that is helping them grow and prosper even with these difficult economic times. The Gala Dinner also provides businesses with an opportunity to network and do even more business.
"In addition to a stunning trophy, winning a KEiBA award will boost staff morale and help attract new business. Success at the KEiBAs will also help businesses raise their profile both in Kent and nationally"

Businesses receiving a trophy next Thursday will receive significant publicity following the event which will help to raise their profile both in Kent and nationally.
KEiBA is staged and produced by Kent County Council and the KM Group to recognise and reward excellence in Kent businesses. The 11 categories recognise companies of all sizes as well as individual awards.
